Popped into Red Fish after a long day on the water, hoping for something good and fast — wasn’t sure that combo even existed, but these folks proved me wrong! We grabbed seats at the bar, and our bartender was on it. Drinks were spot on and our glasses never hit empty. 😄 Food came out in what felt like record time (10 minutes tops). The crab dip? 🤤 I could’ve eaten a bucket of it. Shrimp was actually jumbo, sides were delicious, and my super picky husband couldn’t stop raving about his calamari — said it was the best he’s had in a long time. Loved the vibe, too. Chill, not rushed, a good mix of locals and out-of-towners. We’ll 100% be back. Highly recommend

I was very impressed with this place! I visited here a few weeks ago with my Tugboat crew from the Dorothy Moran as we where in town to dock and undock the USS. Arlington LPD-24 that was loading up Marines from Camp Lejeune. This restaurant was a little small on this inside but very nice and the food was amazing! I also loved our waitress too, she was great. I will return to this place when in start my new job with Military Sealift Command in Norfolk, Virginia. This place will be one of my favorite stops.

No complaints here. The food was tasty. I had Stuffed Grouper. My other family member had Blackened Shrimp. Both were good. Price with 1 drink. Will be about $40.

Wonderful lunch surprise! My friends and I popped in to RedFish for a late lunch yesterday. Great atmosphere and service. Chef Dennis was so kind and accommodating and my food was delicious (my tuna was fresh off the boat that morning!). Highly recommend RedFish grill if you're in the area.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations! The ambience and the location was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially our waiter Tristan! He was very knowledgeable of the food, very friendly, and he attended to our every need. Kudos to him! But, of course, the food!! It was A+! Everything was very delicious! We had the golden fried fish bites, seared salmon, and crab stuffed mahi. It was insane! This place is definitely a must try!

Excellent dining option on the Morehead City Waterfront. Nice atmosphere, Excellent server. Shrimp and grits were delicious although I would recommend more grits. The grits got lost in the Cajun gravy. Excellent seasoning. And the most beautiful salad! Beautiful and flavorful!

Every chance we get to have date night Redfish Grill is the place! The Chicken Parm is the absolute best and to finish it off with a slice of cheesecake. I highly recommend stopping in for an amazing meal and great atmosphere!

Absolutely loved our dinner tonight. There was no wait for our family of five. Tristan, our waiter stayed on top of orders, making sure our drinks never ran out and was very friendly. Our table ordered the crab dip, calamari, stuffed grouper, crab stuffed mahi, and the seafood plate and all were fantastic!! We will definitely be back!

Kaz gave fantastic service. He was on top of the game with keeping our drinks refilled, perfect attention to details and had a great eye for anticipation of our needs which is not found very often in servers. Thanks Katz for a great evening. The fried flounder, oysters and shrimp were Holla good. Highly recommend any of the 3 or all 3 like we did. Apps and sides were meah. Would visit again when in the area for a visit. Would love to know the history of the piano on the interior balcony of nowhere.

If you're deciding between here and Crab's Claw on Atlantic Beach, choose here every time! After my previous night and experience at the Crab's Claw on Atlantic Beach, I thought there wouldn't be good seafood around this area. I came in very skeptical of the food, but left pleasantly surprised. My server was Tristan and he did an amazing job, not only that but he even gave me a complimentary cup of clam chowder after sharing my story of crab and lobster bisque with no crab and lobster at the Crab's Claw, and oh my goodness, it was the absolute best clam chowder I have ever had in my life, it was really, really good. I could have ate a bowl of that by itself and been happy, but I had already ordered. I ordered the stuffed Mahi, and I'm gonna tell you right now, it ranks up there with the best Mahi I have ever had, it might just top the list on that one too, definitely worth every penny! If I could have done things differently, I would have eaten at RedFish, both nights in a row. The wild rice is seasoned well and was a pleasant surprise as well, most places just boil wild rice in water and call it good, and it's bland, not RedFish, it was definitely boiled in stock of some sort, and it was seasoned well. The zucchini was good too, but I wouldn't call it spectacular like the Chowder and Mahi. The zucchini was just properly cooked and seasoned well, your average zucchini. Over all I still give this place 5 stars on Service, atmosphere, and quality of food!!! 10 out of 10, I do recommend!!
